HOW TO TACKLE CORRUTION

At present India is facing a lot of problems, Surrounded by these problems humanity is losing its ground by the turn of each day. Factories are being built, population is ever increasing but humanity is suffering. What is the reason for this.Inspite of progress in every sector why isn’t the country developing? Because the demon of corruption is hampering the progress.

Seeing the present situation the freedom fighters who gave up their lives for the country must be crying in their graves. There was a time when for truth the example of our country was given with Harishchandra and its today that we are one of the most corrupt nations of the world. Speaking about the Mughal Empire it was brought to end by its corrupt leaders. The British Empire laid its foundation by a corrupt leader in Mirjaffer.

Today we are in that position where in every corner of the world there is corruption. No work is complete without it. While driving any rules is broken then it is not considered as a big issue. It may just prove to be a little heavy on your pockets. Because the driving license was also obtained by bribing. Then what’s the big deal? Even if someone looses their life. If you want to get any work done in the government offices then you just need to give a little bit just a little to the clerk and your work will surely be done. In todays time who has the time to stand in the long ques and waste time. And talking about our politicians! Eating the money provided for the improvement of the poor they still continue to live as though no difference. To top it up they even ask for the votes of the people.

But till when are we going to bear this? Isn’t there anyone in this 21st century who can think a little above their own wants and needs? If there has to be a change it has to be brought by the youth. We will have to change our self to change the others. If we stop giving bribe they will stop accepting. It is their work they will have to do it! We just need to show little perseverance and give a little time and there will be a change why not we will get it! When every man can stand in front of the mirror and say that “I am not corrupt “Then the nation will also not be. And then comes the system, what is the system it is” by the people for the people and of the people “When we can think of becoming a doctor or engineer then why not a capable leader? Somewhere someone has to make the effort of starting. And our youth does have this love for the nation it just needs to be brought out from some corner of the heart. And this can be done through the medium of education. Truth, love and loyalty have to be taught at the grass root level. Even today there are organizations that stand against corruption. But people are not aware about these organizations. Awareness can be spread through the media. We should support these organizations and voice our opinion.

Every problem has a solution. Even though the path to remove corruption is difficult and may take time. But it is not impossible. We just need to walk on this path and people will start walking with us. And one day the whole nation will be with us on this path. The unity of the nation has immense power. And if we the youth wish we can do anything in the world. We can spread awareness through the internet aswell. What we need is the right dream, right ambition and the enthusiasm and strength to do something.

The golden future of our country is in our hands if we want we can close our fists and kill it to death or else open our hands and let it fly like the golden bird.

  1. Bravo! At least you thought of sharing your views here, if youngster like you is on the right path I hope the gen-next will fight rigorously and would condemn the bribe policy ( thats the onset of the journey)Long way to go but a step to start is needed. We need to do lot of homework before we step out of our homes and get into street. demon is a demon because we made it that way or our elders allowed it!!

Surely with unity we can make the impossible as possible but the right problem lies in "unity" I don't see people united. People are divided in one fr other form. There are groups everywhere and yes for everything. Writing something or by just spreading the word venting our frustration is not at all going to help. We need to be united on serious terms the day we are INDIAN first and then gujarati, marathi, bihari, telugu we have won half the battle, isn't it Sanskriti?

  4. Dear Sanskriti,

Congratulations. Yes the young Indians have to come forward and take charge of the country. No you do not need Icons.

You are the Icons who will inspire others to follow your example not for vote, not for fame or personal glory.

The media manufactured Youth Icons are out of touch with reality, they come out to seduce youngsters, get votes and return to their palaces life of easy and extravagance.

It take 1 seed to grow into a tree and provide shade to many. This illustrates the power of one. Don't wait for other to follow forge ahead others will join.

    Best of luck.

    Sincerely
    Anil Kohli

  8. I believe, the problem is that there is a particular section of people among us which is extremely pleased with the corrupt way of life;this includes different classes right from the politicians who are happy to get their pockets filled ,to the government servants who accept bribes in order to compensate for the meagre salaries that they receive.and then there are common citizens who are impatient or sometimes even purely lazy and would rather prefer paying bribes rather than standing in a queue or or going through proper documentation.
unless there is a change of heart among this section the state of affairs isn't going to change.if the mindset of these people could be changed somehow ,then we make be able to look forward to a brighter future.
